Legend Sportswear Industries is a wholly foreign owned Australian company based in Shanghai, China. The company was established in 2005. Our registered capital is over one million dollars (USD).

Legend Sportswear produces a variety of customised sportswears, which are manufactured using the latest in clothing manufacturing technologies. We produce many different kinds of garments including cycling wear, American football, athletics competition wear, compression wear, baseball kits, soccer uniforms, Australian football uniforms, corporate wear and event wear.

Our garments are exported worldwide to Australia, USA, France, Korea, England, Malaysia and numerous other countries. Our production is currently 5000 garments per day, we will be doubling our capacity to meet demand in the future.

Our Design Process

The process starts with our graphics department, who create a fully customisable graphical design of a garment for our client using Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, Corel Draw and other precision graphical design software.

Our design is finalised with the customer and sent to our printing department, where colours are matched using our pantone colour matching system. The design is then further proofed and checked meticulously by printing staff for errors through a sample print. This print is performed on the highest quality European and Japanese commercial ink-jet colour printers, which provides perfect printing accuracy and resolution. Our swiss inks used in the printing process perfectly match our pantone colour system.
A draft design is printed on our high performance sublimation paper and tested on a sublimation fabric, which is checked by our design team for errors. Our lead designer then approves the design for production and it is printed onto rolls of high performance graphical sublimation paper. This checking process during our first stage print allows for consistent quality, reliability and performance , which is a hallmark of our company.
When the printing run is complete the sublimated paper with printed design is taken to our Heat Transfer Area.
Using our Italian Monti Antonio rolling heat press the graphical ink design is sublimated using high heat temperatures (around 200C) and turning the ink design into a gas, which causes the ink to permeate the fabric and create a high quality, durable print. Our polyester technical sportswear fabric blends are completely customisable and we are constantly innovating the process. We have technologies to print on a variety of fabric blends.
This heat treatment creates a permanent print on the fabric, which will last the life of the fabric. The colour will remain as vibrant as the day it was printed and designs will not run, smear or blur even under the demanding conditions of performance sports.
This printed fabric is then taken to our Sewing Area, where the garment is sewn, fitted and other technical products are applied such as our Anti-Slip technology and moisture whicking lining fabrics.
